In the present work, attempts have been made to estimate some important quality parameters (viz. ash, moisture, volatile matter, fixed carbon content, and GCV) of Indian coal which is known for its high ash content using diffuse reflectance spectroscopy in VisNIRSWIR (350–2500 nm) range.
