I agree with Susanna. Back decades ago, the mill odor could be an issue, but with the increase in emission controls as well as the demise of some of the mills, it is unlikely to be a problem. Also, since there is normally an offshore breeze and the operating mills are west of SSI, any odor is normally carried away from the Island.
